Once a pineapple is harvested, it will not continue to ripen. Once it is removed from the root, its growth is stunted. Sure, it’ll grow softer and juicier on your kitchen counter but it will not become sweeter. A pineapple’s sugar come from the stem of the plant and once the source is cut off, no more can grow. In a similar way, Jesus is the vine and we are the branches. We are to be rooted in Christ and continually connected to our source of life.
The Bible says,
“So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, 7 rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
8 See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ.“
Colossians 2:6-8

The aim of Pineapple Ministries is to help people be rooted in Christ and strong in their faith.
